Soft Strength is built with intention from design to production. The people who bring our pieces to life aren’t hidden behind the scenes; they’re an essential part of our journey. We partner with manufacturers who share our commitment to safe, fair, and responsible working environments.
Where are your socks manufactured?
Our socks are manufactured in Zhejiang, China, using premium organic cotton. We chose this manufacturing partner because of their ability to work with the recycled materials we require - including recycled elastane and recycled polyester, while maintaining the quality and durability we expect.
This allows us to reduce our environmental impact and produce socks that are made with care, both for the people who wear them and the planet.
Are your socks ethically made?
Yes. Our socks are manufactured in a BSCI-audited facility, which means the factory meets internationally recognised standards for fair and safe working conditions, including fair hours, safe workplaces, and no child or forced labour.
We carefully choose our manufacturing partners to ensure they align with our values, so every pair of Soft Strength socks is made responsibly, with respect for both the people who make them and the planet.
Do you use sustainable packaging?
Yes. Our packaging is designed with sustainability in mind. Our boxes and product tags are made from responsibly sourced paper, while our courier bags are made from recycled plastic, reducing waste and helping to keep materials in circulation.
We aim to minimise environmental impact at every stage, so from delivery to unboxing, your Soft Strength purchase is kinder to the planet.
Are your materials eco-friendly?
Yes. We use certified materials to help reduce our environmental impact. Our socks are made with GOTS-certified organic cotton, combined with GRS-certified recycled polyester and recycled elastane.
All materials are also OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning they’ve been independently tested to ensure they’re free from harmful substances and safe for skin contact.
While no material is completely impact-free, we prioritise internationally recognised certifications and responsible sourcing to make more considered choices for both the planet and the people who wear our socks.
Aftercare
How should I wash my socks?
We recommend washing your socks inside out on a cold, gentle cycle. This helps protect the fibres, colours, and any special details while keeping them fresh.
Can I put my socks in the dryer?
For best results, air-dry your socks. If you do use a dryer, choose a low-heat setting. High heat can weaken elastic fibres over time and reduce the sock’s lifespan.
Can I use fabric softener?
We suggest avoiding fabric softeners. They can coat the fibres and reduce breathability and stretch over time. A gentle detergent is all you need.
How do I keep my socks looking new?
- Wash cold and inside out
- Avoid bleach and harsh detergents
- Skip high heat
- Lay flat or hang to dry

Where do you ship to?
We ship to Australia, and throughout the European Union including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden. We also deliver to New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and across Canada and the United States.
Soft Strength is not responsible for any duties, import fees or charges associated with importing goods into your country.
Please note:* All EU orders are subject to taxes (VAT) and fees.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Delivery times depend on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.
For orders shipped via Australia Post Regular Post, delivery typically takes 2-6 business days for metro areas and up to 10 business days for regional and remote locations. Express Post orders generally arrive within 1-2 business days for metro areas and 2-4 business days for regional areas.
Please note that these are estimated timeframes and actual delivery times may vary. You'll receive tracking information once your order has been dispatched so you can monitor its progress.
We have a 2 business day handling time.
Do you offer express shipping?
Yes we do!
How can I track my order?
You will receive a tracking number along with the courier company used for your order. To track your delivery, please visit the corresponding courier company's website and enter your tracking number to see the latest updates on your shipment's progress.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If you'd like to cancel your order after placing it, please email us at hellosoftstrength@gmail.com within 2 hours of your order to have it cancelled. We cannot modify orders. If you have ordered the wrong item, please cancel your order and order the correct item or alternatively wait for your socks to arrive and return them to us unused.
Returns & Exchanges
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Items purchased in the last 14 days can be returned for a refund.
They must be unworn and unaltered. With the packaging still attached. Postage is not refundable.
Our refunds are processed to the original form of payment.
For exchanges the cost of shipping the product back to us will not be reimbursed. Shipping of the exchanged items is at the customer's expense.
What if my socks don’t fit?
Please use the sizing chart and measure your feet if unsure about your sizing. If you have tried on the socks and require different sizing, please get in touch with us at hellosoftstrength@gmail.com for an exchange.
What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?
If this occurs, please take a photo of the items damaged or faulty and email it to us at hellosoftstrength@gmail.com.au and we can discuss further solutions.
How long do I have to request a return?
You will have 14 days from delivery date to return your order. We will not cover the postage cost of your return.
